On July 10, 2006 JOHN WESLEY WOOD, JR., Princeton University Class of '54, Fellow in the Society of Actuaries & Actuary for the GAO, died Monday at St. Joseph Medical Center. Beloved husband of Winifred Riddle Wood; dear father of Charles E.P., John W. III, Peggy and Susan Wood; dear father-in-law of Joan and Susan Wood; dear grandfather of Charlie, Libby, John IV, and Billy Wood. The family will receive friends at the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Inc., 6500 York Road, (at Overbrook) on Tuesday, July 18 from 5 to 8 P.M. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 7 P. M at the funeral home. Interment private at Lutheran Cemetery, Queens, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Health Care for the Homeless, 111 Park Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21201.
