Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Triple shooting -- Three men were shot, one of them in the head, about 11 o'clock last night in or near an alley in the 3000 block of Harlem Ave., near North Longwood Street. All were taken by ambulances to theMaryland Shock Trauma Center.


Assault/arrests -- Four youths were arrested about 9:30 p.m. Sunday and were to be charged as juveniles with assaulting a man at Heath and Boyle streets 15 minutes earlier. The victim was treated for multiple injuries at Mercy Medical Center. During a pursuit by police officers, the crew of a police helicopter kept the four males under surveillance with a searchlight until they were captured near Harborplace.

Robbery -- Police were seeking two men, one with a handgun, who robbed New York Chicken in the 200 block of S. Gilmor St. of less than $100 and a cell phone early Saturday.


Arrest -- Marcus Jones of the 2600 block of Beryl Ave. was arrested Thursday by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him as an adult with attempted murder. Jones, 16, is accused of shooting a 19-year-old woman July 2 in the 300 block of E. Monument St.


Theft -- A laptop computer and a cell phone were stolen Sunday from a 2004 Honda parked in a garage in the 100 block of S. Gay St. The items were valued at $3,700.

Burglary -- Between Saturday night and Sunday morning, someone entered PCC Wireless at the Gallery in the 200 block of E. Pratt St. and took an envelope containing $3,000.


Shooting -- A 37-year-old man was reported in critical condition at Shock Trauma after someone shot him in the back and chest outside a house in the 900 block of W. Saratoga St. about 9:15 p.m. Saturday.

Baltimore County


Burglary -- A laptop computer, keys and cash were stolen over the weekend from a house in the first block of N. Dundalk Ave. The loss was estimated at $579.


Burglary -- A 2003 Honda all-terrain vehicle valued at $3,000 was stolen over the weekend from a shed in the 3300 block of Appleton Ave.


Robbery -- A 47-year-old man was walking in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Blvd. about 9:30 p.m. Sunday when he was assaulted by two men who robbed him of $4.


Burglary -- A circular saw of unknown value was stolen from a garage in the 1100 block of Providence Road between June 8 and Saturday.


Burglary -- Someone entered Superior Tours on Milford Industrial Road over the weekend and removed $135 from a desk drawer.


Robbery -- Three boys were standing at a bus stop at Security Boulevard and Belmont Avenue about 12:20 a.m. Sunday when three other males, one armed with a handgun and another a knife, robbed them of four cell phones.
