Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Central

Robbery -- A woman in her 40s was walking in the 400 block of N. Paca St. about noon Thursday when she was stopped by a man who asked for a cigarette. When the woman was about to comply, he stole her wallet containing $69 and ripped a gold chain from her neck. The woman chased the man but lost him in a crowd.

Robbery -- Two boys in their early teens threatened and robbed a 33-year-old woman of her wallet and a cell phone as she walked in the first block of E. Baltimore St. about 6 p.m. Thursday.

Theft -- Plumbing tools valued at $700 were stolen Thursday from a 1990 GMC pickup truck parked in the 900 block of St. Paul St.

Theft -- A radio was stolen Thursday from a 1993 Mercury station wagon parked in the 400 block of Jasper St.

Stolen vehicle -- A gray, four-door 2004 Volkswagen Jetta with Virginia tag 6740AS was stolen Thursday in the 2400 block of Madison Ave.

Stolen vehicle -- A 2004 BMW 325i with District of Columbia tag BZ7012 was stolen Wednesday in the 1100 block of Cathedral St.

Southern

Stolen vehicle -- A gray, four-door Dodge Intrepid with tags EGB 526 was stolen Wednesday in the 600 block of S. Charles St.

Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the 900 block of Seagull Ave. through the front door Tuesday and stole stereo equipment valued at $300 and $50 worth of food.

Burglary -- More than 30 boxes of laminated wood flooring valued at nearly $900 were stolen Tuesday from a vacant house in the 3900 block of Brooklyn Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Burglary -- Video games and accessories, a necklace and a .22-caliber rifle -- all valued at $1,350 -- were stolen from a house in the 9400 block of Franklin Square Drive between Monday and Wednesday by someone who entered through an unlocked kitchen window.

Burglary/arrest -- A 26-year-old man from the 8200 block of Pulaski Highway was arrested Thursday and charged with entering a neighbor's apartment that day after removing a window screen and stealing $20 in coins.

Burglary -- Construction equipment and a ladder -- all valued at nearly $4,600 -- were stolen between Wednesday night and Thursday morning from a building in the 8400 block of Pulaski Highway.

Essex

Burglary -- Two concrete lion statues valued at $600 were stolen from the front yard of a house in the 300 block of Oberle Ave. between Monday and Tuesday.

Franklin

Burglary -- Hair-cutting equipment, $40 in bills and $15 in coins were stolen from In Your Hair Barber Shop in the first block of Main St. between July 1 and Wednesday.
