Tony Hawk at Six Flags

The lowdown -- See Tony Hawk's Project 8 Boom Boom HuckJam at Six Flags America, featuring Hawk and some of the world's best skateboarding, BMX and freestyle Moto-X athletes on Sunday and Monday.

If you go -- The exhibitions are at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. Six Flags America is at 13710 Central Ave. in Mitchellville. Admission to the park is $34.99 for kids under 54 inches, $49.99 for adults at the park and $39.99 for adults who buy online. Call 301-249-1500 or visit six flags.com.

Volleyball at Harbor

The lowdown -- The Toyota Pro Beach Volleyball Tour kicks off this weekend at the Inner Harbor's Rash Field. Saturday and Sunday teams will compete in a double-elimination format for cash prizes. The event is free and there will be food, sodas and beer for sale.

Outdoor films in Little Italy

The lowdown -- Restaurants in Little Italy will be presenting free movie screenings every Friday night through Aug. 25. The Little Italy Open-Air Film Festival begins tomorrow with Return to Me. Music begins at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 9 p.m.
