Syracuse 10, Ottawa 7: Winston Abreau gave up three runs on two home runs for the Sky Chiefs in the top of the 10th after the host Lynx (41-41) rallied for two runs in the bottom of the ninth.

Frederick 2, Myrtle Beach 0: Jason Fransz hit his Carolina League-leading 13th homer run, helping the visiting Keys shut out the Pelicans and win three in a row for the first time since April. Radhames Liz (6-4) got the win and James Hoey earned his second save in his third appearance for Frederick.

SINGLE-A SOUTH ATLANTIC LEAGUE

Delmarva 2, Lake County 0: David Hernandez pitched six innings, allowing no runs on four hits, and struck out six as the Shorebirds (4-4) took the opener of a three-game series against the Captains. Lakewood 7, Hagerstown 4: Home runs by Will Vogl and Matthew Anderson could not help the Suns (2-5) come back from a six-run deficit against the visiting Blue Claws.
