Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Northwest District

Shooting -- A 28-year-old man was shot in the right leg early yesterday in the 4800 block of Garrison Blvd. Police said Marques Molloy of Northwest Baltimore was robbed of $11 and his car keys and then shot in the back of the leg as he walked on the street about 2:45 a.m. He told police that after being robbed by three men, he started to walk away, then heard three gunshots and felt a pain in his leg. A friend drove him to Sinai Hospital.

Southwest District

Shooting -- A 20-year-old man was shot Thursday while sitting on the front steps of his home on Furrow Street about 10:45 p.m. Police said that James Harris was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center for gunshot wounds to his right hip and thigh. He told police he was sitting when he heard gunshots down the street and was hit. He told officers he saw a dark vehicle drive by but did not see the gunman.

Shooting -- A 24-year-old man was shot in the left side Thursday about 8:50 p.m. during an apparent robbery in the 300 block of Poppleton St. Robert Johnson told police that he was approached from behind by two men with handguns - one black and one silver - and one stated, "This is a stickup." The man did not give them any money, police said, and was shot in the left side. He was in fair condition yesterday at Shock Trauma.

Northern District

Robbery -- A 33-year-old man was robbed early yesterday by two men while walking in the 3100 block of St. Paul St. Louis Greshen told police that he was talking to his girlfriend on a payphone when two men walked up to him, assaulted him and then took $52 from his pockets. They ran east through an alley; the victim refused medical attention.

Baltimore County

Towson

Armed robbery -- A man dressed in dark clothing and holding a black revolver accosted three woman in an alley behind the first block of Allegheny Ave. and Watkins Way about 10 p.m. Wednesday. He took the victims' purses that included cell phones and an undetermined amount of money.

Burglary -- Someone pulled the air conditioning unit from the rear of a house in the 1200 block of Corbett Road between 6:45 a.m., and 4 p.m. Thursday and stole a canvas bag valued at $20. Police said it was not immediately known if there were items in the bag.

Parkville

Armed robbery -- A man and a female accomplice entered a Payless shoe store in the 2000 block of Cleanleigh Drive about 5:30 p.m. Thursday and asked questions about shoes before one of them brandished a handgun and took an unknown sum of money from the register. The robbers fled in a brown car.

Robbery -- A man followed a woman to her home in the 3300 block of Willoughby Road about 2:40 p.m. Thursday, asked her for directions and then snatched her purse that contained about $140. Police said the woman had noticed the man had followed her from a shopping center.

White Marsh

Robbery -- A 13-year-old walking in the 7900 block of Langdon Lane about 5:20 p.m. Thursday was followed by two male teenagers who told him to give up his cell phone. An argument and fist fight ensued and the victim fled, but not before one of the teenagers tossed a brick that missed him. Police said the victim lost his cell phone in the melee.

Robbery -- Someone entered a garage in the 8800 block of Philadelphia Road between June 23 and Wednesday and stole a generator, air compressor and leaf blower that were valued at a total of $800.
