June 25, 2006|By BRADLEY OLSON

Two Baltimore County police officers were taken to the hospital after their vehicle was broadsided yesterday evening in Woodlawn.

A vehicle hit the police cruiser on the passenger side about 5:30 p.m. at Security Boulevard and Whitehead Court, causing the police car to slide into another car, police said.

The officers -- whom police declined to identify -- had to be extricated from the cruiser.

They were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
