The starting time for Saturday's game between the Orioles and Washington Nationals at Camden Yards has been moved to 4:35 p.m. and will be shown on Ch. 54.

Fox Sports was supposed to air the game at 1:20 p.m.

Also, for those of you wondering about Dave Cash, I'm told the Orioles are still waiting for him to decide what he wants to do. He was reassigned within the organization, not fired, and was told to take a few weeks off.

There's a chance he could end up coaching at Rookie-level Bluefield.

Your newest Oriole: He's actually an old Oriole, which often happens in this farm system.

Howie Clark had his contract purchased from Triple-A Ottawa Friday. To make room for him on the 40-man roster, the Orioles designated pitcher John Halama for assignment.

Clark was batting .276 with two homers, 12 RBIs, a .374 on-base percentage and a .362 slugging percentage at Ottawa. The Orioles drafted him in 1992 and he appeared in 14 games with them in 2002. roch.kubatko@baltsun.com
