Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southwestern

Shooting -- Erron Taylor, 21, was shot in the right arm and chest about midnight Wednesday at an unknown location. Taylor was dropped off outside the emergency room at St. Agnes Hospital in the 900 block of Caton Ave. by an unknown person and was unable to give police any information.

Southern

Shooting -- A 33-year-old man was shot in the head about 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 2900 block of Carver Road as he got out of a pickup truck. The victim, Abdul Brown, was reported in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No arrest had been made.

Assault -- A woman was driving in the 4000 block of Eighth Street about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday when one of several people setting off fireworks on the street fired a rocket that entered her car through an open window and struck her in the head. She was treated for burns at Harbor Hospital and released. No arrest had been made.

Robbery -- Police were seeking a man who shoved a 73-year-old woman to the pavement next to an automated teller machine in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and robbed her of $6.

Northern

Shooting -- A 14-year-old boy from the 600 block of W. 33rd St. was shot in the right ankle with a BB gun about 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2900 block of Miles Ave. He was treated at Union Memorial Hospital and released.

Southeastern

Robbery/arrests -- Two teenage boys were arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with robbing a woman, 30, of her purse at gunpoint in the 6600 block of Gary Ave. less than an hour earlier. Charged as an adult with armed robbery, theft and possession of a deadly weapon and held at Central Booking and Intake Center was Henry Askew, 16, whose address was not available. A 14-year-old boy also was charged with the same offenses and held at the juvenile detention center on North Gay Street.

Central

Robbery/stabbing -- A man, 33, was walking in the 1600 block of Druid Hill Ave. about 3 p.m. Wednesday when he was stopped by a man who asked for the time. Before the victim could reply, the other man stabbed him in the right hand and right shoulder and robbed him of nearly $100. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville

Burglary -- Someone broke into a county-owned concession stand near Prettyboy Dam in the 19800 block of Middletown Road on Wednesday and stole candy and other items.

Pikesville

Burglary -- Police were seeking three boys who entered a house in the 6900 block of Brookmill Road through a door Wednesday and stole a python snake, a bottle of champagne and a jar containing $125 in coins.

Robbery -- Two men stepped from a silver Honda Civic in the 3300 block of Greenvale Road about 5 p.m. Wednesday and robbed a woman, 27, of her purse containing cash and property -- all of unknown value.

Woodlawn

Burglary -- Video games valued at $400 were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 2000 block of Woodlawn Drive by someone who entered through a bedroom window.
