Three men were fatally shot in separate and apparently unrelated incidents in Baltimore over the weekend, the latest of them about 11 o'clock last night, city police said.

Little information was available on the most recent slaying, near Calhoun and Presstman streets on the west side. The victim died at Maryland General Hospital a short time later, police said.

About 11 p.m. Saturday, Antonio Alford, 22, of the 1800 block of N. Bentalou St. was found shot in the head in an apartment building in the 5500 block of Haddon Ave. and died about 45 minutes later at Sinai Hospital.

The other slaying occurred about 3 a.m. yesterday in the 1400 block of Aisquith St. in East Baltimore, police said.

Officers found Larry A. Thompson, 30, of the 1500 block of E. 33rd St. bleeding from bullet wounds to the upper body. Thompson died later at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
