Green rock

The lowdown -- For a night of party music, head to Rams Head Live tomorrow. Based in Pennsylvania, rock outfit Mr. Greengenes tours almost non-stop in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Though the ideal setting to see them is at one of the group's beach gigs, it's been around since the '90s and can move a crowd at most bars and clubs, too.

If you go -- The show starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 the day of the concert and $3 extra for the 18-to-21-year-old crowd. Rams Head Live is at 20 Market Place in Power Plant Live. Call 410-244-1131 or visit ramsheadlive.com. The band is at mrgreengenes.com.

Us vs. them

The lowdown -- Quench your thirst for live local music at Charm City Meets Capital City, a show on Sonar's Club Stage tomorrow featuring five great Baltimore and Washington bands: Two if by Sea, the Heavycoats, the Kennedy Years, Soft Complex and the Hard Tomorrows. The styles of music range from indie rock to guitar-driven electro dance.

If you go -- Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for all ages. Sonar is at 407 E Saratoga St., 410-327-8333 or visit sonarbaltimore.com.
