A glimpse of Annapolis' hidden splendor

June 07, 2006

The Hammond-Harwood House Secret Garden Tour offered visitors a glimpse of 17 gardens in downtown Annapolis on Sunday. According to the organization's Web site, most of the gardens are privately owned and are thus seldom able to be seen by the public. The sites ranged in size from container gardens to a private park. A tour of the Colonial Hammond-Harwood House and garden were included.
