Blue Jays update

The Blue Jays won two of three from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the weekend and remain in third place in the American League East. Toronto has won three of five against the Orioles this season and tonight's Blue Jays starter, Lilly, has beaten the Orioles twice. But the Orioles have handed Wednesday's starter, Janssen, two of his three losses. Kris Benson beat Janssen both times. The Blue Jays have averaged eight runs in their three wins over the Orioles. Third baseman Troy Glaus and center fielder Vernon Wells rank among the American League's best power duos with a combined 32 home runs and 89 RBIs. Former Orioles closer B.J. Ryan continues to dominate with 13 saves and a 0.68 ERA.
