Strawberry fest at Pasadena UMC

Pasadena United Methodist Church will hold a Strawberry Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at the church, 61 Ritchie Highway.

The festival includes pit beef, desserts, face painting, games, dunking booths and music. All are welcome.

Unity by the Bay plans fundraiser

Unity by the Bay will have a musical fundraiser from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow at 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18, Severna Park.

Greg Martins will provide the entertainment.

All proceeds will benefit Unity by the Bay.

Community UMC sets flea market

A Strawberry Festival and flea market will be held by Community United Methodist Church from noon to 4 p.m. tomorrow at 8680 Fort Smallwood Road.

The event will include crab cakes, pit beef, pit turkey, salads, desserts, games, a dunking booth, entertainment and music.

Wesley Grove plans strawberry festival

Wesley Grove United Methodist Church will present its 30th annual Strawberry Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at 1320 Dorsey Road, Hanover.

This event will offer fresh strawberries, cake and ice cream; crab cake or pit ham dinners; grilled items; crafts; baked goods; and a yard sale. The Benfield Brass Band will play at 11 a.m.

Proceeds will benefit church-sponsored activities.

Galilee Lutheran to hold services

A contemporary service will be held at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road, Pasadena.

This service will feature Christian music and informal worship style with the same message, creed and prayers as Sunday service.

Strawberry festival, flea market slated

Jenkins Memorial Church will hold its annual strawberry festival and flea market from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 10 at 133 Riviera Drive, Pasadena.

A continental breakfast will be available from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., and lunch will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Vendors and crafters are needed. The cost is $10 for a space with a table and $7 for a space without.

Sandwich, yard sale planned for June 10

A pit beef sandwich sale and a yard sale will be held June 10 at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer to raise money for the Arundel House of Hope Resource & Day Care Center.

The yard sale opens at 8 a.m., and sandwiches will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 7606 Quarterfield Road, Glen Burnie.

The cost is $4 for a sandwich or $5 for a meal, which includes chips and a beverage.

Grace Baptist plans children's festival

Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach will present a children's festival from 10 a.m. to noon June 11 at 17 Somerset Road, Pasadena.

The rally is to motivate children and sign up children to perform at Kidsfest at 10 a.m. July 8 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

The event is for children of all ages.

St. John Lutheran to mark anniversary

St. John Lutheran Church will hold its 90th Anniversary Fun Festival from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 11 at 226 Washburn Ave., Brooklyn.

Worship will be at 10 a.m.

There will be games, prizes, a moon bounce, face painting, raffles, popcorn, snow cones, fun, food and music.

Cecil the Clown will perform from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

St. Philip Neri to lead Bible School

Vacation Bible School will be held by St. Philip Neri Catholic Church from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 19 to June 23 in the Monsignor Zorbach Hall at 6405 S. Orchard Road, Linthicum.

This year's theme will be "Adventure of the Treasure Seekers," for children 5 to 12 years old.
