Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Central

Theft -- Someone entered a resident's room at Booth House, a shelter operated by the Salvation Army in the 1100 block of N. Calvert St., Tuesday and stole five Social Security cards, a medical assistance card and a food stamp card.

Southern

Assault -- A 27-year-old man was arrested Monday and charged with assaulting a female friend with a child's car seat in their home in the 800 block of Glade Court. The woman, 26, refused treatment for bruises to her neck. Coleman Washington was charged with aggravated assault.

Robbery -- A 22-year-old woman was arguing with two other women in the 1900 block of McHenry St. about 4 p.m. Monday when the two robbed her of a cell phone valued at $370.

Theft -- Someone entered a 24-hour carwash in the 900 block of W. Patapsco Ave. early Monday and stole an undisclosed sum of money. The thief also damaged two auto- washing machines.

Robbery -- A man with a black semiautomatic handgun robbed the Crown gas station in the 1700 block of Washington Blvd. of an undisclosed sum about 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Stolen vehicle -- A green Ford Taurus with tags 8BL V21 was stolen Tuesday in the 100 block of W. Hamburg St.

Burglary -- Two pairs of custom sunglasses and a briefcase containing papers - all valued at $1,200 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 700 block of Light St.

Theft -- Plywood valued at $7,500 was stolen Monday from a truck at a construction site in the 2100 block of Russell St.

Southeastern

Cutting -- A 36-year-old truck driver was cut with a knife on the face, back, head and an arm by a man he was arguing with about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2700 block of E. Fairmount Ave. Bleeding, the victim drove to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, where he was treated and released.

Theft -- Tools, compact discs and a handicapped-parking permit were stolen Tuesday from a 1990 Dodge Caravan parked in the 3300 block of Jefferson St.

Baltimore County

Essex

Rape -- A woman, 38, reported that she was walking in the 8800 block of Pulaski Highway about 11 p.m. Tuesday when two men in a Nissan pickup truck forced her into the vehicle, drove to a nearby isolated area and raped her. The woman was treated at Upper Chesapeake Hospital in Harford County.

Burglary -- Tools valued at $7,450 were stolen Tuesday from a truck in the first block of Mace Ave.

Vandalism -- Police were seeking whoever entered a classroom trailer at Chesapeake High School in the 1800 block of Turkey Point Road between May 26 and Monday, damaged windows and sprayed orange paint throughout the trailer and on a wall of the adjacent school building.

Franklin

Burglary -- A 43-inch, high-definition television valued at $10,000 was stolen Tuesday from a house under renovation in the 4600 block of Butler Road.

Burglary -- Someone entered a house under construction in the 18300 block of Beckleysville Road between May 26 and Tuesday and stole two ovens valued at $1,500.

Pikesville

Robbery -- A 50-year-old man was about to enter his apartment building in the first block of Brubar Court about 12:20 p.m. Tuesday when another man shoved him down steps and robbed him of $100.

Burglary -- Jewelry and cash were stolen Tuesday from the bedroom of a house in the 3800 block of Milford Mill Road. An estimate of the loss was not available.
