Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.



SHOOTING // A 24-year-old man was leaving a store in the 1800 block of Presstman St. about 10 p.m. Wednesday when someone fired a shot that struck him in the right leg. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, and he refused to cooperate with police.

ARREST // Dominick Brandon was arrested yesterday at his home in the 1100 block of Ashburton St. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Brandon, 21, is accused of shooting Anthony Williams on April 4 in the 2600 block of Rayner Ave.


ARREST // Daniel Jones, 15, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 400 block of S. Beechfield Ave. on a warrant charging him as an adult with attempted murder. Jones is accused of shooting Edward Terry, 18, on May 21 in the 4900 block of Frederick Ave.


ROBBERY // A deliveryman for a New York Fried Chicken outlet was robbed by a gunman about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Myrtle Ave., giving up more than $200 and a cell phone. When the victim turned to flee, the gunman fired a shot that did not hit him.

STOLEN VEHICLE // A green 1998 Chevrolet sedan with tags MMS 054 was stolen Wednesday in the 1200 block of Guilford Ave.


BURGLARY // A laptop computer and video games were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 4400 block of Finney Ave. by someonewho entered through a basement window.


CUTTING // A 35-year-old homeless man was walking in the 200 block of S. Broadway about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday when another man stabbed him in the chest. The victim was found in a bar and taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was reported in good condition.


BURGLARY // Two televisions were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 9200 block of Satyr Hill Road by someone who entered through a window.


BURGLARY // Police were seeking four men seen Wednesday afternooon leaving an apartment in the first block of Liberty Place after stealing jewelry and electronics.


ROBBERIES // About 9 p.m. Tuesday, a gunman robbed a 38-year-old of his wallet and cell phone in the 300 block of Sunshine Ave. Police said the same man is suspected of robbing two women of their purses in the same block about 45 minutes later, an incident in which no weapon was displayed.
