Roch Around the Clock

The Kickoff

Did anyone read David Wells scathing remarks about Barry Bonds? Wells is quoted in a wire story as saying, "He's hit a few home runs off me while he was juiced. Look at him; the man is enormous."

And this: "He admitted to taking [performance-enhancing drugs], but not knowingly. I think that's a crock. I would never take something without knowing what I was putting in my body."

This is true. Wells knows exactly how many spoonfuls of sour cream go into each crunchy taco supreme.

Remember Franklyn Gracesqui, the left-hander who supposedly threw 99 mph in winter ball before reporting to spring training and barely touching 90? He took the loss for Triple-A Ottawa on Sunday, when the Lynx blew 6-0 and 7-3 leads. He's 0-2 with a 5.73 ERA.
