Gunman injures 1, then kills himself

A 50-year-old Harford County man was in critical condition after being shot multiple times outside his mobile home early yesterday during a fight with man who later killed himself, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said. Larry R. Bank, 50, was shot repeatedly about 6:30 a.m. outside his home in the 3700 block of Love Road in the Darlington area, the sheriff's office said. He was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and was listed in critical condition after surgery. The fight apparently resulted from a feud between Bank and the gunman - a 48-year-old who lived in the 3000 block of Lochary Road, northeast of Bel Air, the sheriff's office said. The gunman, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, went to the home of a friend in the 1600 block of Poole Road, "where he allegedly confessed to shooting Bank and then committed suicide by firearm," the sheriff's office said.
