MRS. AMELIA C. NOPPENBERGER, 77 of Mt. Airy, MD., died Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edward D. Noppenberger. Born June 1, 1928 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of Michael and Margaret Makoska Kropp. Mrs. Noppenberger was a member of St. Peter's the Apostle Catholic Church in Libertytown, MD. She enjoyed baking, bowling, dancing and traveling. During her working career she was employed at Hasstinger Seafood in Northwood and was a baker at Horn & Horn Cafeteria in Towson, MD. She is survived by her son Howard "Todd" Morley and Tammy of Dundalk, MD and daughter Denise Sturm and husband David of Mt. Airy, MD. Two grandchildren, Alexander and Gregory Sturm. Her brothers Michael Kropp and Eugene Kropp both of Joppa, MD and a sister Gloria Geller of Westminster, MD. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Stanley "Jim", Philip, Walter, Theodore and Joseph Kropp. The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD. on Monday, May 22, 2006 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 9200 Church Street, Libertytown, MD on Tuesday, May 23, at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev. John A. Dietzenbach as celebrant. Interment Garden of Faith Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions, in memory of Amelia Noppenberger, may be made to St. Peter the Apostle Capitol Campaign, P. O. Box 278, Libertytown, MD 21762.
