Two men and a juvenile were arrested and charged with raping a 19-year-old woman early Friday morning after a police officer saw the alleged incident, Howard County police said.

Nathaniel Devon Yarborough, 19, and Ryan Quinton Fassett, 22, both of Columbia, were charged with second-degree rape and second-degree and third-degree sex offenses. In addition, a 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged as a juvenile. Police did not release his name.

According to police, an officer patrolling in the 10100 block of Twin Rivers Road in Columbia about midnight spotted someone squatting behind a 2004 Ford sport utility vehicle parked on a residential lot. When the officer drove in for a closer look, the person ran off. Police said the officer found three people sexually assaulting a woman in the vehicle.

Police said the woman agreed to go out that night and that once in the vehicle she was forced to engage in sexual acts. Police said the woman was driven to the parking lot, where she was found being assaulted.

Police said they are looking for the person who fled.

The woman was taken to Howard County General Hospital in Columbia and later released, police said.
