Awards

The Holmes Group presented Warschawski, a Baltimore public relations and branding agency, its Golden Sabre award in the investor relations category for its work on its Under Armour campaign. The agency also took home the trophy as the U.S. Small Agency of the Year.

Bowie & Jensen LLC of Towson, received the Pro Bono Firm Award from the Baltimore County Bar Association.

SmartWoman magazine named Casey Baynes, founder and executive director of the Casey Cares Foundation, as a Bravo Entrepreneur award winner.

Cynergy Group of Baltimore Inc. was named by the National Business Incubation Association as the Outstanding Incubator Client in the manufacturing/service category.

Expansions

CBaySystems, an Annapolis-based provider of transportation services to the health care industry, expanded its global operations with new offices in Canada and Britain.

New contracts

The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia awarded Baltimore's New Maryland Clothing Manufacturing Inc., a $5 million contract to supply coats to the Air Force.

Dollar Tree Stores opened its newest Maryland outlet at 1961 E. Joppa Road in Parkville.

Organizations

The Maryland chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth named Charles J. Morton Jr., a partner at Venable LLP, as president.

Maryland Bankers Association elected James G. Pierne, chairman, president and CEO of Susquehanna Bank as vice chairman, and Mike Pinto, M&T Bank Mid-Atlantic chairman and CEO, as a director.
