Club humor

The lowdown -- Comedians Eugene Mirman, Michael Showalter and Leo Allen play the Ottobar tomorrow. Showalter (Reno 911! and The State) and Mirman can keep straight faces through some pretty outrageous situations while still delivering hilarious, dry humor.

If you go -- Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. tomorrow. Tickets are $10. The Ottobar is at 2549 N. Howard St. Call 410-662-0069 or visit theottobar.com.

Spin cycle

The lowdown -- Saturday, the 8x10 hosts Organic Haze, the third of its free occasional DJ parties. Six DJs, including Phill Schaefer, Elijah Paul, Godfather Sage and Tzeech World Order, spin all night. They'll bring in their own light show, spin off each other and sometimes battle it out. The 8x10's co-owner, Abigail Janssens, said the venue has booked one event like this each month for the rest of the summer.

If you go -- Organic Haze starts at 8 p.m. Saturday at the 8x10, 8-10 E. Cross St. Free. Call 410-625-2000 or visit the8x10.com.

`Trash' talk

The lowdown -- When Atomic Books hosted Found Magazine co-creator Davy Rothbart last fall, they had to turn people away at the door. This time, they're presenting Rothbart at the larger Golden West Cafe and are expecting 200 to 300 people. Rothbart will bring odd discarded items he discovered and invites audience members to share their own. He is also promoting his new book. PostSecret founder Frank Warren will be there to showcase postcards and sign copies of his book.

If you go -- Atomic Books presents Davy Rothbart 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday at Golden West Cafe, 1105 W. 36th St. Free. Call 410-662-4444 or visit atomic books.com.
