Mike Gvozden, Severna Park



STATS -- Gvozden, a senior, became the first Anne Arundel County boys lacrosse player to start and play on four consecutive county championship teams when the Falcons routed South River, 12-2, last week. Gvozden has started at goalie since his freshman year and has been All-County every year.

SIDELINES -- Last year, Gvozden committed to Johns Hopkins University. In addition to his solid skills, he also has been a team leader for the Falcons. Gvozden has a 3.90 grade point average, scored 1,310 on the old SAT (1,500 maximum) and 1,910 on the new SAT (2,400 maximum). He plans to major in business or psychology at Hopkins.
