Elie Snyder, Atholton



STATS -- The sophomore midfielder has established herself as a fine two-way player in her first season of varsity. Snyder led the Raiders (8-4 in the regular season) in ground balls with 46 and also contributed four goals and five assists, as the team enjoyed its best county record in program history at 7-3.

SIDELINES -- Snyder has a 3.71 grade point average and her favorite subjects are chemistry and math. A three-sport athlete, Snyder has spent two seasons starting on the varsity basketball team, helping the Raiders reach the state semifinals. She also has two years' experience with Atholton's junior varsity volleyball team. Snyder enjoys watching college basketball and attends Washington Redskins games with her father.
