Maryland's top legislators demanded yesterday that Constellation Energy Group disclose how much money its executives would reap from a merger with a Florida utility, and how much of the higher-priced electricity BGE is buying would be produced by its parent company.
The information is a precursor to a possible special session of the General Assembly that would deal with a pending 72 percent average increase in BGE's electric rates for residential customers, said Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller and House Speaker Michael E. Busch.
