Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.



Shooting -- A 17-year-old was shot in the upper right leg by another male as they argued about 10:45 p.m. Monday in the 7200 block of McClean Blvd. The youth was released after treatment at Johns Hopkins Hospital.


Theft -- Tools and computer equipment valued at $2,030 were stolen Monday from a 1991 Chevrolet van parked in the first block of President St.

Theft -- Someone entered an office at Port Discovery on Monday and stole an employee's wallet containing $40.


Carjacking -- An Anne Arundel County motorist told police he was in the 4100 block of Hyden Court about 1 a.m. Sunday to purchase drugs when two men entered his 2004 Hyundai Sonata and told him to drive to an isolated spot for the transaction. But there, the pair -- one armed with a handgun -- forced the driver out and took the car with tags MWF 297.

Burglary -- Ten pocket knives, 16 swords, an antique .38-caliber handgun, gold coins, cash and jewelry were stolen from a house in the 3700 block of 2nd St. between May 3 and Monday.


Robbery -- A 12-year-old boy was riding a bicycle in the 400 block of N. Highland Ave. about 5 p.m. Monday when he was attacked by several other males, one armed with a knife, who beat and kicked him before stealing the bike. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 400 block of N. Belnord Ave. through a second-floor window Monday and stole jewelry and documents valued at $3,000.
