County Council -- The Baltimore County Council will meet for a budget work session at 2 p.m. in the Plum Room on the second floor of the county courthouse, 400 Washington Ave., Towson. 410-887-3196.

Curriculum display -- The Baltimore County public school system will display teacher and student materials related to an accelerated curriculum, Language!, through Friday at the Greenwood campus, third floor of the ESS Building, 6901 Charles St., Towson. 410-887-4039.

Police meeting -- Baltimore County Police Precinct 03 will hold a Police Community Relations Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the precinct, 606 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown. Topics include area crime trends, law enforcement issues and community activities. 410-887-6985.

Educational council -- The Southwest Area Educational Advisory Council will meet at 7 p.m. at Powhatan Elementary School, 3300 Kelox Road, Lochearn, for a "capital pre-budget" hearing to gather input about school construction, renovation and equipment priorities.
