Walbrook wins in overtime

Antione Lewis scored in overtime to give Walbrook a 15-14 victory over visiting Howard yesterday in the Class 3A-2A South regional boys lacrosse quarterfinals.

Lewis finished with three goals and Eric Pitts had a game-high 10 points (four goals, six assists) for the Warriors (13-1).

Walbrook will face No. 15 River Hill tomorrow at 7 p.m. in the regional semifinals.

Franklin 12, Catonsville 11 -- Jesse Headley had three goals and four assists and Matt Higgins scored four goals to lead the Indians (10-1) past the visiting Comets.

Girls lacrosse

No. 3 Century 10, Liberty 8 -- Jenny Steadman and Brittney Verhusen each had three goals to power the Knights (15-0) past the Lions in a Class 2A-1A West game. Century will face Winters Mill tomorrow at 6 p.m.

No. 12 North Harford 11, Bel Air 7 -- Corey Donohoe and Laura Lesnick each scored three goals to pace the Hawks (12-1) past the Bobcats in a Class 3A-2A North game.

Baseball

Reservoir 15, Forestville 0 -- Right-hander Drew Guty (1-2) gave up one hit and struck out six for the host Gators (6-12) in a Class 2A South game. He went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs to pace the offense. Reservoir will face Atholton tomorrow at 4 p.m.
