FoolProof theater to hold auditions

FoolProof Improvisational Theatre will hold auditions for its 2006-2007 season Saturday at East Middle School, 121 Longwell Ave., Westminster.

FoolProof, entering its 20th year, deals with issues such as drug and alcohol abuse and other problems affecting teens and families. The troupe performs primarily in schools and addiction rehabilitation centers.

The day-long audition starts at 9 a.m. and runs to about 4:30 p.m. All high school students in Carroll County are welcome. No experience or prepared work is needed, just wear comfortable clothes.

CCC sets kids' art enrichment classes

Carroll Community College, as part of its Summer!Kids@Carroll program, will offer new "Creative Kids" art enrichment classes this summer.

Programs are available for those ages 6 to 16 from mid-June through early August. Costs range from $95 to $200, depending on the program.

Available classes include: Artworks Creativity; Cartooning and Comics; Drawing and Painting; Fiber, Fabric and Fun; and Graphic Arts Books.
