Local FBI agents under probe

The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee has opened a probe into whether FBI agents in Baltimore committed perjury during the investigation into the mysterious death of federal prosecutor Jonathan P. Luna. In a letter to the director of the FBI, committee chairman Sen. Arlen Specter and ranking member Sen. Patrick Leahy wrote that a confidential report, first obtained by The Sun, indicated FBI officials gave "conflicting stories during interviews with agents of the FBI's Internal Investigations Section." pg 1a

Man sentenced in fatal crash

A man who caused a violent auto collision in East Baltimore that killed two people last July pleaded guilty yesterday and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. pg 1b
