`Frog and Toad'

Spend an evening with a couple of amphibians at the Pumpkin Theatre's production of A Year With Frog and Toad at one of the coming shows at Hannah More Arts Center at St. Timothy's School. The 2004 Tony Award-nominated musical comedy, starring Michael Himelfarb as Frog and Patrick Martyn as Toad, will be presented this weekend and next weekend.

The story, based on the books by Arnold Lobel, tells of the friendship between the lively Frog and the irritable Toad. The Pumpkin Theatre shows mark the Baltimore premiere of the musical, which features music by Robert Reale, book and lyrics by Willie Reale. Christopher Rose serves as musical director, and Todd Pearthree directs and choreographs the shows, which will be presented at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and May 20 and 21. The school is at 8400 Greenspring Ave. in Stevenson. Tickets are $12; $11 in advance. Call 410-828-1814.
