Question of the day

The Kickoff

May 10, 2006

What is the Orioles' bigger worry: pitching or hitting?

Consistently weak pitching eventually begets consistently weak hitting, a result of a demoralized team, which is exactly where the O's are headed.

Lew Rodgers

Fulton

Both. The O's have a No. 4 starter at best, and I lost count of how many times the O's have left men on second and third with less than two outs. When does football start?

Marcus Oxyer

Columbia

Both are equally worrisome. As in, Angelos will continue to keep hitting O's fans below the belt by pitching the unabashedly hackneyed and unfulfilled promise that "things will be different this year."
