Man sought in Carroll robbery

State police are investigating after the robbery of a Carroll County woman outside a Westminster hair salon.

Jessica Smith, 25, of Manchester had gotten into her car parked behind A Cut Above in the 400 block of E. Main St. when an attacker pulled her out the vehicle and assaulted her at 8:40 p.m. Friday, police said. The man took her purse and fled on foot toward Poole Road, police said.
