On May 6, 2006, JAMES M. COTTER, 63, of Bel Air, MD, formerly of Portland, ME, Wellesley, MA and Medfield, MA, passed away peacefully at his home after fighting a courageous 27 year battle with cancer. A loving father, he is survived by five children, Kimberly Cotter-Selig, of Concord, James Cotter, of Dracut and Michael B. Cotter, Andrew P. Cotter and Maria E. Cotter, all of Portland, ME; and three grandchildren, Adam, Michaela and Aiden. He also leaves a devoted sister Kathleen Brogowski, brother-in-law, Theodore Brogowski and nephews, Theodore and Peter, all of Holmdel, NJ. A friend to so many, he will also be greatly missed by his son-in-law Ted Selig, of Concord, Kate Kutny, of Portland, ME, Catherine Quinn, of Newton, MA, and his many colleagues at the Parexel Corporation, of Baltimore, MD, who provided tremendous support during his final days. Mr. Cotter's family invites friends and former colleagues to celebrate his life. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, May 10, at 10 A.M., at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring Street, Medfield. Burial following at Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield. Visitation Tuesday, from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Roberts-Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Miller Street, Medfield.
