In last Sunday's Solve-It board for the chess column in A&E Today, a black rook appeared in space 1a where a white rook should have been. The correct board appears in today's A&E Today on Page 10E.

In an article in last Sunday's Ideas section, University of Maryland professor Thomas Zeller was quoted as saying that the automobile has killed more people than wars. The story failed to note that Zeller was referring to warfare deaths on U.S. soil.
