Children's concert to be held today

Chamber Music on the Hill presents "The Children's Corner: A Concert for Young People" featuring the Mistral Winds, Westminster Ballet Theatre and Kreider/Horneff Piano Duo at 3 p.m. today in WMC Alumni Hall.

This concert was originally scheduled for Feb. 12. Tickets for that date will be honored. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for senior citizens at the door.

A Greater Gift holds fair trade day

A Greater Gift at the New Windsor Brethren Service Center will hold its annual World Fair Trade Day celebration to show how buying fair trade foods and crafts contributes to peace building and justice.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the center, 500 Main St., New Windsor.

Kindermusik holds open house May 17

Kindermusik of Carroll County will hold an open house for its summer programs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. May 17 at Coffey Music, 31 E. Main St., Westminster.

The open house will feature activities, demonstrations, sample curriculum and a talk with teacher Debbie Henning. Registration is requested.

Summer semester classes for children up to age 7 start May 30.

Classes are available for newborns to 18 months; 18 months to 3 years; 3-4-year olds; 5-6-year-olds; and Family Time, a multi-age class for multi-children families to age 7. Classes are held once a week for five weeks or daily for a week.
