Fallston swept the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference's Chesapeake Divisional championships at C. Milton Wright on Thursday.

Elliott Galeone paced the boys team to 146 points with victories in the shot put (46 feet, 2 1/2 inches) and the discus (127-10), and the Cougars won three of four relays.

The girls squad, with 167 points, was sparked by Kristin Baxivanos, who won the 100 meters (12.65 seconds), the 110 high hurdles (15.11) and the 300 intermediate hurdles (46.18).

Monocacy Valley Athletic League divisional championships -- Katie Hursey won the 800 (2 minutes, 23.6 seconds), the 1,600 (5:13.2) and the 3,200 (11:38.2) to propel No. 4 North Carroll to the Chesapeake divisional championship at Urbana on Thursday. Josh Cole won the shot put (49-5), Brad Martz the 200 (23.0), and Francis Scott Key won the 400 and 800 relays, but the No. 10 Eagles' 114 points were 30 behind first-place Middletown in the Piedmont divisional championship at Middletown on Thursday.

Baltimore County divisional championships -- Hereford freshman Kristen Malloy won the 1,600 (5:23.4) and the 3,200 (12:01.5) and ran a leg of the winning 3,200 relay to pace the Bulls to the 2A-1A crown at Sparrows Point. On the boys side, Zach Friedman took the 800 (2:04.8) and the 1,600 (4:41.3) to spark Pikesville. In the 4A-3A division at Woodlawn, Franklin's Michelle Donadio won the 800 (2:22.1), 1,600 (5:08.3) and the 3,200 (11:39.9), and Chris McIntosh took the 110 hurdles (15.1) and 300 hurdles (40.0). No team scores were available.
