Question of the day

The Kickoff

May 03, 2006

Do the media pay too much attention to the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox?

The New York Sun sure does. Every day there is another picture of some Yankee in the sports section. I only want to see a picture of a Yankee if he loses, strikes out or Giambi or Sheffield finally gets nailed for steroid abuse.

Mark Henderson

Perry Hall

ESPN's obsession with the Yankees and Sox is ruining the network. They report every haircut, hangnail, or foul tip anyone in these two overrated organizations has.

Gary Johnson

Havre de Grace

Probably not. Large metropolises, high drama, immensely talented players. The Kansas City Royals vs. the Tampa Bay Devil Rays just doesn't pack the same punch, does it?

NEXT QUESTION

How should the Orioles improve their bullpen?
