Glenelg girls lacrosse players - Sara Marshall, Julianne Nicola, Alex Mundy, Kristy Black and Bri Kitchelt - who scored three goals in the Gladiators' 19-3 win over Atholton on Friday.


Consecutive goals scored by the River Hill boys lacrosse team in a 14-10 win over then-No. 14 Mount Hebron on Friday. Josh Hostetler led the offense with four goals and goalie J.B. Mayotte finished with 18 saves and didn't allow a goal in the second half, as the Hawks outscored the Vikings, 10-0.


Consecutive runs scored by the Chapelgate softball team as it rallied from a three-run deficit against Park for a 12-3 win on Friday. The Yellowjackets, who began the week with an 11-3 mark, had five-run innings in the third and fifth to maintain a share of first place with Friends in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland C Conference with a 10-1 league record.
