Steve Kosiba, Long Reach

SPORT LACROSSE

BOYS

STATS -- After two seasons playing attack, Kosiba, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound junior, moved to a crease defender position this spring. He said there is more thinking involved in defense, and proper positioning is vital. Kosiba also was a member of Long Reach's county-title winning football team last fall, playing defensive end.

SIDELINES -- With a 3.43 cumulative grade point average, Kosiba is a member of the National Honor Society at Long Reach. One of the NHS community services he enjoys is tutoring elementary school students. Kosiba's favorite subject is math and he's considering business as a college major, with hopes of running his own company someday. Along with supporting the Ravens, Kosiba enjoys snowboarding in the winter.
