Baltimore

Northeastern

Arrest -- Howard Rote of the 5000 block of Erdman Ave. was arrested yesterday at the district station and charged with attempted murder. Rote, 46, is accused of shooting his wife, Charlene Rote, 49, in the neck on the parking lot of a post office in the 4200 block of Shannon Drive on Monday.

Arrest -- Gary Lee Lambert of the 9800 block of Edisto Way in Essex was arrested yesterday at a state parole and probation office in Baltimore County by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with armed robbery. Lambert, 32, is accused of robbing a man April 21 in the 2800 block of Hillen Road.

Northern

Robbery -- A gunman entered St. Mary's Restaurant & Carryout in the 100 block of W. 25th St. about 7 p.m. Monday, reached over the counter between sections of Plexiglas and removed an undisclosed sum of money from a cash register.

Western

Burglary -- A 54-inch TV valued at $3,200 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 2000 block of Clifton Ave.

Southern

Burglary -- Someone entered an apartment in the 2600 block of Patapsco Ave. on Saturday and removed $300.

Theft -- At least 170 compact discs were stolen Sunday from a 1985 Toyota in the first block of S. Arlington Ave.

Theft -- Camping equipment, two DVDs and a CD player face plate were stolen Sunday from a 1994 Honda Accord parked in the 1600 block of Johnson St.

Southeastern

Robbery/cutting -- Police were seeking two men who attacked a 34-year-old man in the 800 block of E. Fayette St. on Monday night and robbed him of $20. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center for a cut on his left hand.

Stolen vehicle -- A blue four-door 1999 Subaru Legacy with Colorado tags KCJ 9490 was stolen Monday in the 900 block of S. Wolfe St.

Baltimore County

Parkville

Stabbing/arrest -- Police arrested a Harford County man late Monday and charged him with attempted murder in the stabbing of his former girlfriend near a Wal-Mart in the 8100 block of Perry Hills Court. The victim, 20, was walking across the parking lot about 11:30 p.m. when she was attacked and stabbed in the neck, upper body and face. The assailant fled into nearby woods. Arrested was Christopher McCann, 24, of the 100 block of Fungsten Court in Joppa. A weapon believed used in the attack was recovered. The woman, whose name was not released, was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Cockeysville

Bank robbery -- A man robbed Wachovia Bank in the 2100 block of York Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 9:30 a.m. Monday after giving a teller a holdup note.

Robbery -- A 60-year-old man reported Monday that he was in the rear of Hunt Valley Motor Coach in the 200 block of Cockeysville Road about 9:30 p.m. April 19 when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $150.

Towson

Burglary -- Jewelry and a watch - all valued at $1,200 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 7600 block of Hillsway Ave.

Franklin

Stolen vehicle -- A green four-door 1997 Cadillac with tags 7AY J96 was stolen in the 11100 block of Natures Court between April 20 and Monday.
