PERCY D. PEARSON of Baltimore, MD passed on April 26, 2006 while in the Lewes Convalescent Home, Lewes, DE. He was born July 12, 1907 in Woodruff, SC. He was the son of the late John and Noni Foster Pearson. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard-Merchant Marine where he served over 50 yars in various capacities. During his tour, he served during World War I and II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Stephen, Doss, Luke, Jay D, John B, Prerose and Aaron J and one sister, Ores, an aunt, Blanche Foster Prince, a niece, Mary Ann Bostic and five cousins, Wilhelminia Foster, Vitelle Boozer Harrison, Lawrence (Al) Allen and James Drayton and Argatha Williams. He is survived by nieces and a nephew, Delores Mosley-Easley of VA Beach, VA; Jennie Chapman of Millsboro, DE; Doss Pearson Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; cousins Walter B. Reader of Woodruff, SC; Dr. Selma Harrison of Columbus, OH; Doris Mc Pherson, Ernest Foster Jr., Carolyn Scott (Wayman), Dr. Marilyn Corder (Dr. Fred) and Marcia Foster, all of MD and Lettie Polite of Asheville, NC and Garland Harrison Jr. (Evelyn) of Camden, AR; a devoted cousin, Lucy Allen of Millsboro, DE and a special friend, Evelyn Longus of Baltimore, MD; Three great nephews, Two great great nephews and one great great niece and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will 1pm at St. Georges Episcopal Chapel in Harbeson, DE where friends may call two hours prior. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
