A grand jury indicted two people yesterday in the shooting of a police detective last month in Westport.
Sherray Q. Douglas and Jobrea Lodge, both 20, have been charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted robbery with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon. Douglas is accused of working with Lodge to lure Officer Dante M. Hemingway to a street in Westport and then rob him. Hemingway was shot three times in a gunbattle.
