Under the heading "Of Music and Memory," the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's latest program is sobering and comforting.

The horror of 9/11 is recalled through a Pulitzer Prize-winning work by John Adams, On the Transmigration of Souls, surrounded by music of surpassing beauty and, in the case of Schubert's Symphony No. 3, abundant good humor.

BSO 3 p.m. tomorrow at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, 1212 Cathedral St. Tickets are $25 to $75. Call 410-783-8000 or visit www.baltimoresymphony.org.
