Dulaney's Matt Lafferty had three goals and an assist to lead Dulaney to a 14-5 Baltimore County 4A-3A League win over visiting Franklin (7-4, 4-1) yesterday in boys lacrosse.

Andrew Fisher had a goal and three assists. Jay Mann (two, one), Tim Purcell (one, two) and Eric Keppeler (one, two) each contributed three points for Dulaney.

Nikk Davis and Augie Bauer each scored twice in the seventh straight win for the Lions (9-2, 5-0), whose winning streak against county rivals rose to 69 consecutive games dating from a 10-6 loss to Hereford in May 1999.

Franklin's Geordy Clements had 22 saves compared to 19 for Dulaney's Geoff Hebert, whose defenders, Jeff Breeding, Chip Lanser and Tyler Kiddy, kept the Indians to a season-low total in goals.

"I could hardly concentrate in school, thinking about this game," Lafferty said.
