Cleanup continued yesterday after a docked push-boat sank off Havre de Grace on Tuesday night, spilling about 100 gallons of diesel fuel into the Chesapeake Bay, according to the Coast Guard.

The leak was noticed as a dredging company attempted to raise the 25-foot craft, which sank near Millard E. Tydings Memorial Park.

Booms set up to contain the spill failed, the Coast Guard said.

State environmental officials said the spill was minor.
