DOG SHOW -- The final day of the Cherry Blossom Cluster dog show will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cow Palace on the Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road, Timonium. TOMORROW

BALTIMORE COUNTY SCHOOLS -- The Baltimore County School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. to hear a report on English for Speakers of Other Languages programs, special education staffing and other items. The meeting will be in the Education Support Services Building on the Greenwood campus, 6901 Charles St., Towson. 410-887-4126.

WEDNESDAY

HOLOCAUST TALK -- Leo Bretholz, the author of Leap into Darkness, will discuss his experiences during the Holocaust, when he was a fugitive in Nazi-occupied Europe, at 5 p.m. at Carroll Community College's Scott Center, 1601 Washington Road, Westminster. 410-386-8153.

THURSDAY

WATERFRONT FESTIVAL -- The Baltimore Waterfront Festival, held in conjunction with the Volvo Ocean Race, will take place at the Inner Harbor's West Shore area off Light Street from noon to 9 p.m. It will continue Friday and Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. Admission is free. 877-BALTIMORE or bop.org.

GARDENS DAY -- Towson Gardens Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Baltimore County Courthouse fountain plaza, West Pennsylvania and Baltimore avenues in Towson. Admission is free.

FRIDAY

CRAFT FESTIVAL -- The 28th annual Sugarloaf Craft Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road, Timonium. It will continue Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $7, good for all three days, and free for children younger than 12. 800-210-9900 or sugarloafcrafts.com.

RECREATION EVENT -- The Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks' 2006 Recreation Explosion will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Druid Hill Park on the perimeter surrounding Swann Drive. It will continue Saturday from noon to 7 p.m.

SATURDAY

UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES -- The University of Maryland will combine its 8th annual Maryland Day with a celebration of its 150th birthday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at six sites on the College Park campus. Admission is free. 877-868-3777 or marylandday.umd.edu.

SUNDAY
