A Baltimore man arrested with a gun during a traffic stop in July was sentenced to more than 17 years in prison yesterday for being a felon in possession of a gun, according to the U.S. attorney's office.

Harold Greene, 32, pleaded guilty to the charge Feb. 7, one day before a jury trial was to begin.

Greene admitted to having a handgun in the open center console of an Oldsmobile in the 1500 block of Abbotston St. on July 9. Police also found cocaine and cash in the car.

In addition to the prison term, Greene was sentenced to three years of supervised release.
