St. John Lutheran will hold a dinner

St. John Lutheran Church will host a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at 226 Washburn Ave., Brooklyn.

Community United to host flea market

Community United Methodist Church will host a flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at 300 Brock Bridge Road, Laurel.

The cost is $12 with tables and $10 for space without a table. Setup starts at 8 a.m.

All proceeds will benefit the United Methodist Women.

St. Margaret's offers organ recital Sunday

St. Margaret's Church will host an organ recital at 4 p.m. Sunday at 1601 Pleasant Plains Road, Annapolis.

Julie Vidrick-Evans will perform works by Bach, Gabriel Pierne and March DuPre under the direction of James Fitzpatrick.

The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted in support of the summer concert series production.

Unity by the Bay will hold service

Unity by the Bay will have service on Sunday at 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18, Severna Park.

Mahala will give a presentation on the Great Physician and music provided by Felicia Rose.

New member induction will be held at this time.

Continuing events include silent unity prayer time at noon, Monday through Thursday; meditation from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays; and "A Course in Miracles" from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays.

Woods to host praise band concert

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. April 29 at 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park, themed "Reelin' in the Years."

The free concert will feature the Woods Memorial praise band. Light refreshments will be served.

Anchor Baptist Church will host a Hymns of the Faith sing-along at 6 p.m. April 30 at 320 W. Pasadena Road, Millersville. This service is dedicated to traditional praise, worship and musical theology.

Trinity to mark day of prayer

Trinity Bible Church will host a prayer meeting at 7 p.m. May 4 at 99 Truckhouse Road, Severna Park.

This event will focus on the National Day of Prayer with the theme "America: Honor God."

The church will be open at 11 a.m. for quiet prayer time during the day.

St. Andrew's to hold Mother's Day festival

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church will hold a Mother's Day garden festival from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 6 at 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater.

There will be an assortment of crafts, live entertainment and children's games.

Pit beef dinner planned for May 13

Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer and the Arundel House of Hope will host a pit beef dinner from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 13 at 7606 Quarterfield Road, Glen Burnie.

Proceeds will benefit the Arundel House of Hope Resource Day Center.

The cost will be $4 for a pit beef sandwich or $5 for the meal, which adds chips and a beverage. Information: 410-863-4888.
