TBC Advertising and Public Relations named Tom Hollerbach as the Baltimore firm's president and chief executive officer.

Banking and finance

The Bank of Glen Burnie said Rick Sutton has joined the Anne Arundel financial institution as vice president of commercial lending. He is responsible for new business and servicing current customers.

SunTrust Bank Maryland named John W. Oakley as a vice president in its retail division.

M&T Bank appointed as administrative vice presidents: Craig Hallgren, who is responsible for providing interest rate risk management services to Mid-Atlantic corporate and institutional clients, and Bradley D. Pingrey, who has responsibility for retail banking management in Frederick and Washington counties.

First Financial Group named Eric Pines and Alan Lipsey as financial representatives. They are assigned to the Baltimore-based regional firm's Towson office.


Care Resources Inc. appointed Lin Leslie as vice president of sales and marketing for the Baltimore-based provider of special education staffing and compliance solutions.

Business and Technology Law Group said Matthew Blackwell joined the Columbia law. His practice will focus on technology transactions.

Coventry CareLink named J. Robert Clement vice president and chief marketing officer for the Baltimore-based insurance provider.


The Maryland Arthritis Foundation appointed Grace Ban executive director and Melissa Thorseth as development coordinator for its Southern Maryland branch.

Heroes Helping Heroes elected Baltimore attorney Jan Berlage to its board of directors.

MacKenzie Retail, a unit of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services LLC, named Meghan M. Saylor to the sales and leasing staff of its Lutherville office.

The Shelter Group named Cianna L. Dennis as a regional property manager and Matt Lawson as a market analyst and client relations manager for the Baltimore-based national real estate development and property management firm.

South River Consulting LLC said John N. Trimble, an energy consultant, has joined the Baltimore independent energy advisory firm.

Atlantic Builders Group added Bambi Turner as project engineer and Bruce Cranford and Todd Poppell as project managers to the staff of the Rossville-based general contractor and construction company.

Aon Corp. named Gary Schmalenberger managing director of the national property practice in the risk management services firm's Baltimore office.

Enterprise Homes Inc. appointed Rebecca Warntz as director of construction, Brigitte Baker to senior administrative assistant and Tachelle Rich as a customer service coordinator for the Baltimore-based homebuilder.
